Ashwin Shardiya Navratri Dates and Puja Vidhi 13th October – 22nd October 2015
Shardiya Navratri is the most popular and significant Navratri of all Navratris. That’s why Shardiya Navratri is also known as Maha Navratri.
It falls in lunar month Ashwin during Sharad Ritu. The name Shardiya Navratri has been taken from Sharad Ritu. All nine days during Navratri are dedicated to nine forms of Goddess Shakti. This year Shardiya Navratri are falling in the month of October. The nine days festivity culminates on tenth day with Dushera or Vijay Dashmi
These nine days are very good to start any sadhana. If anyone is willing to do dus mahavidya upasana then he/she should not waste this time. These nine days alone can change your life & your future, but it depends on you how you spend your life in these nine days. Those who never had any spiritual experience in their life they should practice mantras in these navaratri. Those who have taken diksha from us they must do anusthaan in this navaratri. It is not compulsory to 1.25 lakh mantras. You can do anusthaan of 21000 mantras, 31000 mantras etc, but you have to complete in nine days only. Homam can be done on 10th day. Who are already in any anusthaan please do continue it , no new anusthaan is required for them. ( Incase you had already started any anusthan before navaratri)
Those who have not taken mantra diksha as of yet they should take it in this navaratri as it is the best time.
